During World War Two the American army used Sherman tanks.These tanks were no where near as good as the German Tiger tanks and were very noisy.There 75 mm gun was not very powerful either .Their air cooled gasoline engines could not go for more than an hour without fresh fuel.They also had a 50. cal machine gun on the roof ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tiger Tanks German Tiger Tanks were some of the most powerful tanks of the Second World War.They weighed about 56.9 tonnes and had a height of 3 meters.They had a 8.8 cm primary gun and a secondary maschcinengewehr 34 mounted machine gun.This tank could only hold five crew members.
