Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was the dictator of Germany for about 12 years and was one of the main people who started World War Two.He was a decorated vetern of World War One(read page on World War One) and aextremely important leader in politics.When he became dictator in 1933 he demanded that all boys over around 8 joined the Hitler youth.The Hitler youth became a very violent cult like group and beat up any forgeiners which the athoritys turned a blind eye to,this was all under the influenc of Hitler.Hitler was also the cause of the holocaust whitch resulted in millions of jews being killed in concentration camps around ocupied europe.Eventualy in 1945 Hitler comited suicide while the Allied Axis surounded Berlin.

M1 Garand

The M1Garand was a standard weapon for almost all American troops during World War Two.It seen action during many wars such as the Korean War,the Vietnam War and the Ireland troubles.Its maker Jhon C. Garand desinged in 1928.It cost $85  and  was 43 centimeters long.

The Vietnam War

During the Vietnam War millions of soldiers were recruited to fight in Vietnam.The Americans only invaded tom prevent communist takeover in South Vietnam.The war went on from 1950 - 1973.Soldiers were recruited using a televised lotto.Many people did not approve of the American army invading and even Mohammed Ali converted religion to a Muslim to prevent himself from being recruited.When the war ended    the total death count of American soldiers was near 17,000.

German Tiger Tanks

German Tiger Tanks were some of the most powerful tanks of the Second World War.They weighed about 56.9 tonnes and had a height of 3 meters.They had a 8.8 cm primary gun and a secondary maschcinengewehr 34 mounted machine gun.This tank could only hold five crew members.

Sherman Tanks

During World War Two the American army used Sherman tanks.These tanks were no where near as good as the German Tiger tanks and were very noisy.There 75 mm gun was not very powerful either .Their air cooled gasoline engines could not go for more than an hour without fresh fuel.They also had a 50. cal  machine gun on the roof.
